Coleslaw How To Prepare
Traditionally, cabbage for coleslaw should be cut into narrow shreds. This does not mean using a shredder, but there are a few tricks to cutting cabbage that will make this process easier. First, wash the cabbage and remove the outer leaves. Second, cut the cabbage in half, then in quarters. Then by laying a flat side down, cut out the core of each of the quarters of the cabbage. Next, start slicing the cabbage into small strips until it is completely sliced. Lastly, cut the strips of cabbage at least in half. Move the cabbage to a large bowl. Shred the carrot and slice any other optional vegetables you want to add.
